The next Fringe (formerly Ad Hoc) production is a one night rehearsed reading of Faith Healer by Brian Friel, directed by Paul Woodhouse. It will be on Friday 4th April at 7.30pm in the Wildman Studio. Tickets are £4, available at usual times from the office or box office.

We have recently performed two plays by Brian Friel, both very popular with our audience Dancing at Lugnasa and Lovers. In Faith Healer, he explores a very hot topic for our time, namely faith: what makes people have faith, and in what or whom? And what effect does this have on the one they have faith in? This topic is explored as we hear the stories of a rather unheroic faith healer, his wife and his agent.

Don't miss this splendid evening of talent and entertainment.

Firstly, there'll be a super supper - and anyone who has experienced Playhouse catering recently will know that's an undeniable truth.

The entertainment will be provided not by unpredictable strangers - but by your very own friends and fellow members - and we've spread the net very wide to accommodate as many performers as possible

In no particular order we have Jean Garbutt, Geraldine Woodhouse, Walter Swan, Chrissee Platt, Mike Denby (you're laughing already!), Phil and Caroline Marston,
